A new season is in the air, and Georgia fall foliage is emerging in the glamorous golds, rusts, and reds that make autumn in Atlanta so spectacular. While it was difficult to stay inside this past weekend, the Atlanta Home Show created an oasis of gorgeous gardens and landscapes that managed to draw a substantial crowd. Bloom’n Gardens Landscapes celebrated our green thumb getaway with a unique landscape design, time spent with our friends and customers, and, of course, an iPad Mini giveaway!
Atlanta Home Show in October
The Cobb Galleria Centre was decked out in its floral finery, and the Bloom’n Gardens team was pleased to display our designs. We participated by creating an interactive “snapshot” landscape, allowing visitors to stroll through the garden and experience the southern scenery as nature intended. Stone Forest Materials provided a Belgard Paver walkway for our installation, and we wound the pretty and practical path through a lush landscape of deodar cedars, colorful perennials and pansies, and verdant gardenias, azaleas, and camellias. Our furnished private patio provided a table, chairs, and an umbrella behind a screen of Large Tea Olives, creating a sensational setting for any season. The design took weeks of hard work and planning, and we were so blessed to see our garden blueprint come to fruition. A special thanks to John Deere Landscapes in Villa Rica for providing many of our plants.
Atlanta Home Show in March
A woman’s work is never done, and the team at Bloom’n Gardens have already turned our sights on our next green event: the March Atlanta Home Show! We’ll be hard at work designing a garden for your Atlanta, Smyrna, or Vinings landscape to display at the Atlanta Home Show March 21-23. Check in with our blog, peruse our Garden Vignettes, and cultivate your own backyard marvels in preparation for spring planting!
